1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
We may collect email address, login credentials, account identifiers, and subscription status. Users may also use certain parts of Frespace without creating an account.
1.2 Food Inventory Data
When using Frespace, you may provide food names, expiration dates, quantity information, storage locations, shopping list data, and food usage and waste records. This information is used to power fridge organization, expiration reminders, shopping recommendations, AI insights, and household sharing features.
1.3 Photos and Camera Access
Frespace may request access to your device camera and photo library to enable AI-powered food recognition. Photos may contain food items, packaging, and refrigerator contents. Frespace uses AI batch recognition technology to identify multiple food items from a single photo. We do not sell uploaded images to advertisers.
1.4 AI Processing
Some images and food-related data may be processed using third-party AI service providers. AI-generated recognition results, expiration suggestions, and food insights are estimates and may not always be accurate.
1.5 Analytics and Usage Data
We may automatically collect device type, app version, crash logs, feature usage statistics, interaction events, and performance telemetry. Frespace may collect telemetry related to AI recognition performance, feature usage, onboarding completion, subscription conversion, and shopping list interactions to improve product quality.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to provide and operate Frespace services, sync fridge data across devices, enable family/shared household functionality, generate food expiration reminders, provide AI insights and recommendations, improve AI recognition accuracy, process subscriptions and payments, prevent abuse and fraud, and improve app stability and performance.
3. Family and Shared Household Features
Users may create or join shared household spaces. Members of a shared fridge may be able to view shared food inventory, add or edit food items, view shopping lists, and receive shared notifications. Permissions may vary depending on household settings and account role.
4. Cloud Storage and Anonymous Usage
Certain features may work without registration. Users may access paid cloud storage features before creating an account. In these cases, Frespace may temporarily associate data with anonymous device identifiers until account registration or migration occurs.
5. Third-Party Services
Frespace may use third-party providers such as cloud hosting providers, analytics providers, payment processors, AI service providers, and push notification services. These providers may process limited information on our behalf.
6. Data Retention and Account Deletion
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain account functionality, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and improve product quality. Users may request account deletion through supported in-app settings or by contacting support.
After account deletion, account access may be immediately disabled, user data may no longer be visible inside the app, and shared household permissions may be removed. Deleted account data is typically removed from active systems within 30 days, though limited backup copies may persist temporarily for security, fraud prevention, legal, or disaster recovery purposes. Backup systems may retain limited encrypted copies for up to 90 days before automatic overwrite or deletion.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access your data, correct your data, delete your data, export your data, withdraw consent, and disable notifications. To request deletion or access, contact support@frespace.xmanys.com.
8. Children's Privacy
Frespace is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, including encrypted connections, authentication systems, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. However, no system can guarantee absolute security.
10. International Users
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. By using Frespace, you consent to such transfers where permitted by law.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of Frespace after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
