Frespace Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Frespace. If you are under the age required in your region, you must use Frespace with parental permission.

2. Use of the Service

You agree not to abuse or disrupt the service, reverse engineer the app, use automated systems to access Frespace improperly, share subscriptions in unauthorized ways, or upload unlawful or harmful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

3. AI Features and Accuracy

Frespace provides AI-powered food recognition and recommendations. AI outputs may include food recognition, expiration date suggestions, shopping recommendations, waste insights, and weekly reports. These outputs are automatically generated and may contain errors or inaccuracies.

4. Food Safety Disclaimer

Frespace does not guarantee food freshness, food safety, accurate expiration estimates, or nutritional correctness. Users are solely responsible for determining whether food is safe to consume. Frespace is not a medical, nutritional, or food safety service.

5. Subscription and Billing

Some features require a paid subscription. These may include AI scan limits, weekly reports, family account creation, cloud synchronization, and premium insights.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your platform provider. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Users may manage subscriptions and disable auto-renewal through platform account settings after purchase. Refunds are subject to Apple App Store or Google Play policies.

6. Restore Purchases

Users may restore eligible purchases using the "Restore Purchases" feature available within the app. Availability of restored purchases depends on platform account status and store provider policies.

7. Lifetime Access

"Lifetime" refers to the operational lifetime of the Frespace service, not the lifetime of any individual user. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services in the future.

8. Family and Shared Accounts

Users may participate in shared household spaces. By joining a shared fridge, you acknowledge that other household members may view or edit shared inventory information. Household owners may have additional administrative permissions.

9. Data Loss and Availability

While we aim for reliable service, we do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, or permanent data preservation. Users are responsible for maintaining any records they consider important.

10. Account Deletion

Users may delete their accounts through supported in-app settings or by contacting support. Deleting an account may permanently remove associated cloud data, shared inventory records, and subscription-linked information, subject to applicable retention requirements and backup retention policies. Some limited encrypted backup copies may temporarily remain in disaster recovery systems for up to 90 days before automatic deletion.

11. Intellectual Property

All app content, branding, software, interfaces, and AI workflows belong to Frespace or its licensors. You may not copy or redistribute them without permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frespace shall not be liable for food spoilage, health issues, lost data, missed expiration reminders, AI inaccuracies, or indirect or consequential damages. Your use of Frespace is at your own risk.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, fraud or abuse is detected, or legal compliance requires it. Users may stop using Frespace at any time.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may modify these Terms periodically. Continued use of Frespace after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
